For those shooters who prefer to run, or are by law forced to run Ruger 10 round rotary magazines (BX-1) in their 10/22, we developed our Magazine Coupler which gives the user 20 rounds in one compact package. After emptying one magazine, just release, spin, and reinsert the coupler to put 10 more rounds down range. HTA 90/22 users will also appreciate the extra length when inserting factory magazines into the magwell. But the mag coupler does more than just give you faster reloads and more ammo at the ready, it also hides a 9/64" Allen wrench which will allow you to disassemble the coupler, our HTA 90/22, and the factory 10 round mags as well. Simply use a .22 long rifle round or similar object to push the wrench out from the front. Made in the USA from glass reinforced polymer and protected by HTA's lifetime warranty. *Ruger BX-1 magazines not included.

Amazing product and customer service

First of all, the product is amazing. Very well constructed, the fit and finish is spot on, and they feel indestructable. Whoever designed this product is an absolute genius. They press together with alot of force and they stay very secure, but are not so tight that they dont want to come apart again. One word of warning though, do not overtighten the bolt on the clamp, just give it a little snugging. I accidently shattered the oval piece by applying too much force, which leads to my second point. I contacted the company to see about getting a replacement for the piece i broke, and even admitted to it being my fault and asked about purchasing another one. Andy went above and beyond to make things right and sent me two spare clamps for free and thanked me for my business. That type of customer service, and the exceptional attention to detail and quality of their products, is what sets this company apart from all the others out there.

Ingenious Design

Received the couplers today, and they are great. It is a pretty ingenious design. I was never a big fan of the BX-25 magazines, and preferred the 10-rounders. It is nice to have 20 rounds in a compact package.

WELL DESIGNED!!!

originally i purchased to circumvent the 10 round mag limit in colorado, however when leaving the range one of the range officers stopped me and said its still considered 1 magazine when combined. so check your local legislation before heading out, luckily he was a cool guy and nothing came of it. securely coupled 3 different types of 10 round mags! (even one that was probably older than i am) i keep one loaded with cci shotshell for snakes and the other with subsonic rounds so not to spook the neighbors this makes loading the smaller 10 round mags way easier in the deep mag well of the 90/22
