Description
Customer Reviews
By offering some of the most advanced features of any bullpup conversion system on the market, the MBS 95 from HTA gives shooters the ability to bring improved ergonomics, serviceability, and maneuverability to the rugged simplicity of the Hi-Point Carbine. The MBS (Modular Bullpup System) 95 is a radical deviation from other bullpup conversions, thanks in large part to its modular design. Assembly can be accomplished in minutes and field stripping in mere seconds. The stock is fully ambidextrous, complete with a reversible forward charging handle, forward magazine release, and a shell deflector for left handed use. Eight M-Lok slots allow for the addition of extra rails and other accessories such as QD sling mounts.
Rounding out the MBS 95 is a durable, glass filled nylon body, two CNC machined aluminum rails, aluminum bedding blocks, an internal recoil reduction system, and a hardened steel trigger linkage. Internal steel components are Melonited to offer the very best in corrosion resistance and the aluminum rails are hardcoat anodized for durability.
The MBS 95 in 9mm is compatible with all models of the Hi-Point Carbine 995 including the "Classic" model and the newer "TS".
When ordering, make sure this is the same caliber of your rifle. Hi-Point Carbine not included.
The MBS 95 may make your rifle illegal in some jurisdictions. Know your state and local laws and if you live in a restricted state, be prepared to make the necessary adjustments to remain compliant. We are working on making compliant stocks for restricted states, but until then, you are responsible for compliance.
Some states (CA, CT, MD, etc.) have 29" or 30" overall length minimums and bans on certain features, such as pistol grips on semiautomatic rifles with removable magazines. This stock has both a pistol grip and lowers the OAL to about 26.25".
Do not order this item if you live in a restricted state and do not understand the law or would be in violation of the law by assembling this conversion on your rifle.

Amazing
Took this out to the range, couple people laughed and asked if I have a Stormtrooper gun (artic gray). I have a reflex sight on it, sighted in at 75yards. When guys tried it they all were impressed and asked what type of carbine is it, When I would say Hi-point with High tower bullpup conversation kit, they couldn't believe how well balanced and how well it shoots. They loved the duel safety and how everything can be changed to right or left shooters. I said well my Stormtrooper gun doesn't miss like stormtroopers do. Ha ha ha ha. So I'd say I had the last laugh.

A little disappointed
While itƒ??s comfortable to shoot this stock, I felt the charging handle was way too wobbly and felt like it was one more pull away from the handle breaking off. The stockƒ??s lever you pull down to field strip it kept working itƒ??s way out an out every mag and with that the stock starting to separate. Had to reseat this a few times. Not good if in a home defense scenario which is the point of this carbine (backup to the backup). Also the trigger feels extra mushy (beyond the factory trigger) and the mag release leaves a lot to be desired. At least I knew the trigger was going to be mushy since this is a common issue with most bullpups but the mag release surprised me. I originally wanted to give this 3 stars but I just bought a riser pic rail to mount my red dot on (same setup a our AR) and what do you know, the riser doesnƒ??t fit this stockƒ??s top rail. Iƒ??m half tempted to put the ugly factory stock back on and sell this bullpup stock. HTA response: Hello James- thank you for your purchase and your feedback. We are very sorry to hear you were unsatisfied in any way with our product. We have a satisfaction guarantee and if you are unhappy in any way, we are glad to accept the item back as a return. That said, we believe there are some things we can do that may help with your concerns/issues. If the rail is opening while firing, it means you do not have the takedown latch down fully when you are assembling. This is a simple fix- simply push up hard on the lower picatinny rail until it latches fully and seats all the way forward in the groove it slides in. If it is not fully closed, the recoil will be enough to open it but once fully closed this is impossible. This is also what is causing the magazine release not to work, since it uses the same track as the the picatinny lock. If the picatinny latch is not fully closed, it blocks the magazine release from being operated, and thus prevents the mags from dropping free. Getting the latch closed fully is really the key to the issues you are describing. Try this and let us know if that works. As for the rail, we'd be happy to take a look at it or send you a new one if for some reason it isn't fitting an optic. It should be machined to milspec standards so make sure whatever you are trying to install is not a weaver or other similar device. Let me know if you have any questions on any of this. We'd really like to get a 5 star review from you and whatever it takes to do, we are willing to do it! Thank you again for your business!

This is by no means cheap plastic junk.
I recently purchased one of your Bullpup stocks for the Hi Point 9mm carbine. No, there is no problem. In fact the reason for this review is to say that it took less time to install your stock than to disassemble the original Hi Point carbine for cleaning. If you follow the very clear instructions, the replacement stock is such a precise fit everything drops and locks into place. It also changes the center of gravity of the weapon so drastically, it makes an accurate weapon even more so and easier to carry. The only thing missing is a place for a front sling attachment on the side. For those of us that perfer a two point carry. All in all Thank you for an OUTSTANDING product.

New life
I'm the proud new owner of an MBS 95. You have created an awesome piece of art and technology. Had an old Highpoint, UGULY! You've brought new life to an ugly carbine.

hi tower bullpups
I recently purchased the hightower bullpups for three of my hi points. I shot two of the guns with the bullpup the 9mm and. 380 it performs as advertised. I read and heard complaints about the trigger and I understand. I also understand why the trigger mushy. After getting use to the trigger, like I have with other guns, I didn't find as bad but that's after learning it's pattern. I love that the bullpup is fairly easy to disassemble compare to the hi point stock. The safety on the trigger and the mag release and the charging handle are in convenient locations for me. The hi point safety lever moves easier than it does on the hi point stock Cons On the top cover it can be difficult to remove and install. It'll take a few break downs to get it to loosen up. Overall it's a very good quality built product. The look and feel alone will have people wonder about the price of the weapon let alone where can they get one.
