Description Technical Specs
The HTA Threaded Mid-Weight 10/22 Barrel is the perfect addition to any tactical 10/22 platform chambered in .22 LR. These barrels feature a mid-weight profile for the ideal balance of weight and accuracy, then fluted to reduce their weight by about 15% over the factory barrel and are finished off with with a 1/2-28 threaded muzzle. This allows for customization over a wide variety of aftermarket flash hiders, brakes, suppressors, etc. A knurled thread protector is included to prevent the threads from being damaged when a muzzle device is not attached. These barrels are 18" and will give HTA 90/22 users the shortest possible overall rifle length required by the NFA.

Each barrel is made from a 4140 steel barrel blank, button rifled, air gauged, and thermo stress relieved twice (before and after turning) for maximized accuracy. But the feature of these barrels that really puts them head and shoulders above the competition is the process each barrel undergoes after they are machined. Our barrels are treated with Melonite, a process revered in the firearms community, which imparts nitrogen and carbon into the very molecular structure of the barrel surface, producing a rock hard layer inside and out. Finally, each unit is finished in a matte black milspec phosphate to reduce the reflective signature to a minimum. The end result is a barrel that is nearly impervious to corrosion, longer lasting, harder, more wear resistant, and easier to clean than traditional steel and stainless steel barrels, not to mention, they give your 10/22 build the look and feel you just can't get with a factory barrel. Includes bushings for use in HTA 90/22 kits. Made right here in the USA and backed by HTA's lifetime warranty. *Stock and Ruger 10/22 not included.

5 of 5 Shoots as good as my bolt action CZ 452 December 28, 2015

I bought the 18" fluted barrel to use on a small 10/22 project, basically a .22 Designated Marksman's Rifle. The advice and service I received was excellent both before and after the purchase. The barrel looked impressive out of the box. It was really impressive when I shot it, though:

5/8" 10-shot group at 50 yds. with Federal 45 grain Suppressor ammo. That's using a moderately priced 1.5-5X scope and a Ruger BX trigger. It's as good as my CZ 452 Silhouette bolt action with a Nikon 3-9X.  Needless to say I'm very pleased.

5 of 5 Quality, looks, and accuracy April 17, 2015
Reviewer: Rick R. from Memphis, TN
The 18" mid weight fluted, threaded barrel was a nice surprise in its quality, look, and ease of installation. The new aluminum suppressor shroud fits great and is a big leap in the looks of already sound feeling and great Bull pup platform. I would recommend this suppressor shroud to anyone with a threaded or removed front sighted barrel. At the range while sighting in my Red dot I had 4 different people approach me about the gun and commented on its looks and accuracy of the grouping. while I would like to think the grouping was all me I will have to give some... credit to the new barrel. Ok maybe an even amount of credit.
